Workplace Services

The rising cost of healthcare is a concern for all employers, large and small. One approach to reduce health care costs is to focus on worker wellness - encouraging employees to live a healthier lifestyle, thus reducing their need for major medical care. Not only can a focus on wellness reduce costs, it can increase morale, improve health, reduce workers’ compensation claims, reduce absenteeism, and increase productivity. Our doctors are available to visit your place of business to perform screenings, offer seminars, and provide ergonomic workplace evaluations – all at no charge to you.

Ergonomic Workplace Evaluations
Whether in a factory, customer service, or office setting, many employees experience injuries while on the job due to repetitive motions or poor workplace ergonomics – injuries that result in lost time and increased medical expenses for employers.

Dr. Jaworski will provide a 1-hour Ergonomic Workplace Seminar at your business free of charge.  She can also assess the workstations of your various employee groups and provide cost-effective recommendations for individual workstations and individual employees to increase safety and lessen the opportunities for injury.

Companies who have taken advantage of these evaluations have created a safer work environment for their employees - resulting in increased employee satisfaction, decreased injury incidents and severity, and decreased costs and lost time associated with injuries.

Draeger Chiropractic presented an ergonomics seminar at one of our recent staff meetings, and it was wonderful! It was exactly what we were looking for and a nice break from our usual meeting topics. I absolutely think that people left the meeting having learned something they could use.
What I most appreciated, though, was that we didn’t feel like they were trying to sell us something. Sometimes, I’m leery about having guest speakers come to our meetings for that reason.   But, the doctor came in, taught us about ergonomics and how to work safely, and that was that. Their knowledge on ergonomics  as well as his method of delivery were both impressive! The doctor was professional, timely, and, of course, everyone liked the food.
We really appreciated the seminar, and we look forward to having them come in again in the future.

Posture and spinal screenings by a trained and experienced chiropractor can help reveal important health information. During a brief, non-invasive, pain-free screening, one of our chiropractors will assess your staff, examining their joints and measuring the range of motion within the neck, shoulders, and spine.

These screenings can detect early indicators such as poor posture, decreased range of motion, muscle weakness, spinal misalignment, and even loss of skin sensation. Since many spinal conditions are degenerative (meaning they progressively get worse over time), the earlier a problem is detected, the better opportunity there is for a positive treatment outcome.  We can also provide on-site blood pressure checks and scoliosis screenings.
